My name is Blair. I am 21 years old and I grew up in beautiful San Diego California. I am a "recovered" anorexic/bulimic,and drug user, but I still would like to lose weight the "healthy" way. I began restricting when I was 14 years old and up untill about a year and a half ago my disease was very serious. I didn't have a period for two years at one point. I was also a frequent user of ecstasy, cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin. My lowest weight was when I was 17, I was 5'2 and weighed 88 pounds. I do not know my current weight, and I don't want to. I haven't stepped on a scale in years, and when I do need to be weighed for medical purposes, I ask that they do not disclose my actual weight to me. I do not want to focus on a number to make me feel thin or beautiful. I want to be comfortable in my own skin... however much of it I may have. Thanks to the support of my family and friends, therapy, and medication I have been able to put most of my unhealthy habits behind me. I am not a stick figure, nor am I fat, I eat three meals a day and snack in between, but I would love to give and gain support from others who need my help or just need a friend to talk to whohas been through the same thing.
